After this, Atari released a PlayStation 2 edition in November 2003. On September 12, 2000, Hasbro released a second PlayStation version of Wheel, which features a behind-the-scenes interview with White and a qualifying exam for contestant hopefuls. This particular version is compatible with a memory card which allows it to avoid previously played puzzles until the entire library has been played through.

Artech Studios and Hasbro Interactive produced a video game adaptation of Wheel for Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation console on Decemthis version again features White appearing as host via FMV sequences, and a 3-D engine that allows it to have a presentation similar to that of the actual show. It all works very well, and no matter what controller you end up with you should be able to find a comfortable option. For instance, anyone can select their letters with the D-Pad and buttons, while the GamePad holder can simply tap them on the screen, and the Wii Remote users can point at the television. Player one uses the GamePad, and everyone else gets a Wii Remote, and the controls are uniformly good. Even the NES version handled that well enough. The Wii U version of the game plays very well, though that's to be expected when the entirety of the interaction has to do with selecting letters one by one.
